Great place. Comfy atmosphere and food that tastes homemade. I had the Grilled Chicken Panini with a side of Tomato Basil Soup. Amazing with very generous portions. The cup of soup was a bowl. Only bad part is now I'm too full to try the desserts. I'll be back...

Very good addition to the Wells Rd area. I had a Puff Pastry Chicken Pot Pie with a salad. It was very good, spiced without being overwhelming. The pastry was masterful, very flaky. It’s a small cute place with communal seating and lots of light. I think that anyone would enjoy trying this lovely place out. I will be back. 5****

Shika Patel shelling peas with her mother in Uganda.

Our Story

The initial inspiration for what would become Cozy Tea grew from the imagination of a very young Harshika Patel, born in Jinja, Uganda in East Africa in 1958. Making mud cookies from the rich, rust-colored Ugandan soil was one of her favorite play-time activities as a little girl. She remembers helping her mother in the kitchen from an early age preparing ingredients for traditional Indian dishes, sparking her passion for cooking early on…
